Farm to Market Road 458
Farm to Market Road 458, or FM 458 is a farm to market road, a state maintained road which serves to connect rural and agricultural areas to market towns, in the U.S. state of Texas. It is located entirely in Matagorda county. The road is 5.6 miles long. The route starts at an intersection with SH 111 3 miles west of Midfield and ends at FM 616 just west of Blessing, Texas.
==Route description==
FM 458 begins at an intersection with FM 616 west of Blessing in Matagorda County, heading north on a two-lane undivided road that immediately crosses a Union Pacific railroad line. The road continues through a mix of farm fields and woods with occasional homes. Farther north, the highway heads into open agricultural areas, turning east before a turn back to the north. FM 458 reaches its northern terminus at an intersection with SH 111 west of Midfield.〔
